Ajax Waterfront Race Volunteer Waiver and Release of Liability
Introduction:Thank you for volunteering at the Ajax Waterfront Race. By proceeding further with your volunteer application, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined below.
Assumption of Risk: Volunteering at the Ajax Waterfront Race involves inherent risks, including potential physical injury, property damage, or exposure to unforeseen hazards. By participating, you acknowledge that you voluntarily assume all risks associated with the event.
Release of Liability: In consideration of being allowed to volunteer, you agree to release, waive, and hold harmless the Ajax Waterfront Race organizers, sponsors, and all affiliated personnel from any claims, liabilities, or demands arising out of or in connection with your participation, regardless of any negligence or other causes.
Medical Treatment: Should an emergency occur, you understand that you will be responsible for obtaining any necessary medical treatment, and that the event organizers do not provide medical insurance coverage for volunteers.
Age Requirement and Supervision: All volunteers must be accompanied by an adult if under the age of 14. If you are under 14 years old, you confirm that you will be supervised by a parent or legal guardian throughout the event.
